What is Tirzepatide?

We use a compounded version of Tirzepatide sourced from reputable FDA-regulated Pharmacies  to ensure safety and quality. The brand name version of Tirzepatide is an injectable medication initially released in 2022 as a treatment for Type 2 Diabetes. Later under a different brand name, a new version was approved in 2023 for use as a weight management medication that is administered via weekly injections. Tirzepatide operates through a distinctive dual-action mechanism targeting two pivotal hormones to regulate blood sugar and supress appetite: glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP). As a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist, it helps the body’s natural response to these hormones. GLP-1 aids in reducing blood glucose levels by promoting insulin release in response to elevated blood sugar, slowing gastric emptying, and curbing appetite, thus promoting weight loss. The GIP element enhances this effect by further improving insulin sensitivity and potentially boosting the body’s capacity to utilize fat reserves for energy.
