IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME? There is typically no downtime required after Exion Face or Fractional RF Microneedling treatments. After an RF microneedling treatment, you’ll likely experience some redness and swelling for 12-48 hours, similar to a mild sunburn, in treated areas. Your skin will be more sensitive during recovery as well. These side effects are normal and quickly resolve on their own as you heal.
HOW SOON WILL I SEE RESULTS? It’s not a one-and-done treatment, and you may need a series of four to six treatments spaced approximately 3 to 4 weeks apart to achieve optimal results depending on individual skincare goals, the specific treatment area, and the initial condition of the skin. These treatments are designed to provide gradual and cumulative improvements in skin texture, firmness, and overall appearance. You’ll soon see the results as early as two weeks after your initial treatment, but it may take as long as 2–6 months to see the final results since your body takes time rebuilding collagen and elastin. Your healthcare provider will assess your unique needs during a consultation and recommend a treatment plan tailored to your specific goals and expectations. I HAVE INJECTABLES, CAN I STILL GET AN EXION TREATMENT? Combining microneedling and Botox/neurotoxins and fillers is often done together to achieve optimal results, however it is recommended to wait for two weeks after receiving Botox/neurotoxins or dermal fillers in the treatment area before having a microneedling procedure. WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE? Treatment times may vary, however most treatments can be performed in 45 minutes or less. EXION RF and Ultrasound is similar to a hot stone massage, but the temperature can be adjusted to yout comfort level. Exion Fractional RF Microneedling may feel like slight pricking sensations on the skin, which can be minimized by the application of numbing cream before the procedure. Minimal reported side effects, such as pinpoint bleeding, swelling, redness, or irritation.
